DataLayer, vaults and handles in the blockchain explorer

One day after its launch, the blockchain explorer covers three more parts of Chia. Each new tab opens with a short "Did you know?" tip that explains what you are looking at.

DataLayer

The DataLayer tab lists every DataLayer store on mainnet, found from the chain alone. A store page shows its owner, every update of its data and the mirrors that serve it. We check the mirrors every hour, so you can see which ones really serve the data. Set an alert for a store's next update or a new mirror.

Vaults

A vault is a coin with its own spending rules, such as how many keys must sign. The Vaults tab shows the vaults of the Chia wallet SDK, used by Sage and other wallets: their XCH, tokens and NFTs, charts over time and every spend. An alert tells you when XCH enters or leaves a vault.

Handles

An XCHandles handle is an NFT that points to an address. The Handles tab lists every registration with its owner and expiry date, and the latest registrations, extensions, transfers and sales. Everything is read from the handle registry itself, so a look-alike NFT cannot fool it. Type @handle in the search box to jump to the address. Address and NFT pages show their handles too.

Charts you can zoom

Click any chart to open it full screen. Drag to zoom in, or pick a range from six hours to four years, or all time back to the first block. The link keeps your view, so you can share it.

Mempool history

The mempool chart has new 30-day, 1-year and all-time ranges. It reaches back to 2022, and a note tells you which part comes from Chia Network's public dashboard and which part we measured ourselves.
