Install the explorer as an app and get notified
The new explorer is also an app. Add it to the home screen of your phone and it opens full screen, like any other app, and remembers your farm. No app store needed.
How to install it
- Android: open the explorer in your browser. It offers to install itself: tap Install.
- iPhone and iPad: open the explorer, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Push notifications for your farm
Log in to My Farm and switch on notifications for the device you are using. In Settings you choose what you want to hear about:
- Farm down: no partials for an hour
- Farm size dropped by more than half
- Payout received
- Block won by your farm
Alerts arrive even when the explorer is closed. You can switch them on for as many devices as you like. Settings shows the list of devices, and you can send yourself a test.
iPhone and iPad: notifications only work after you install the explorer to your Home Screen. Open it from there and switch them on.
Goodbye to the old mobile app
The installable explorer takes over from our old XCHPool mobile app, so we removed the App Store and Google Play links. Farm notifications now come through the explorer. Still using the old app? Install the explorer and switch on notifications there.
