Sage wallet 0.13: apps inside your wallet, and a year of updates
Sage is an open-source light wallet for the Chia blockchain, made by Rigidity and developed on GitHub under xch-dev. It connects directly to peers on the Chia network, or to a full node you trust, and runs on macOS, Windows, Linux and Android, with iOS available through TestFlight. Version 0.13.1 came out on 19 September 2026.
New in 0.13 (19 August 2026)
- Apps: Sage can now install small apps that run inside the wallet. Apps run in a sandbox and have to ask for permissions, which you review and approve.
- Read-only mode for cold wallets, meaning wallets whose private keys are not stored in Sage.
- Issuing revocable CATs.
- Scanning a QR code from an image, and a fixed QR scanner.
- Editable fees for WalletConnect requests, and transactions waiting in the mempool shown as pending.
Fixes in 0.13.1
- Many improvements to apps, such as download progress, grouped permission requests, safer updates and HTTPS by default.
- Bulk cancel or delete on the Offers page.
- A fix for clawbacks that include a fee, and a fix for how newly generated seed phrases are displayed.
- The Android app now targets API level 36.

- 0.12.2 (September 2025): swaps through Dexie, your own themes and an estimated wallet balance.

What it means for farmers
Sage is a wallet, not farming software, but you can use it to hold and send the XCH you earn. Chia's documentation on the coming 3.0 hard fork says users of ecosystem wallets such as Sage should stay on the latest version, so keep Sage updated. Downloads are on sagewallet.net.
